Features Pocket Voice
UPDATE: February 2017 - Pocket Voice is now FREE.==========================================================================Pocket Voice gives a voice to people who are unable to speak but who should be heard.Dakine Waves Pocket Voice is an Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) aid.
For many different and varied reasons, some people are unable to speak or be understood.
Nevertheless, those people have a right to be heard.
Pocket Voice aims to facilitate that by giving its users an audible voice.Pocket Voice has been designed for use on mobile phones and tablets.
By pressing a series of buttons, the user is able to construct sentences.
The words are then spoken using the devices text-to-speech engine. Finally, it is easy for a user or their carer to customize the application so that the words available to be spoken are relevant to the users own situation.A Lite Version of Pocket Voice is available elsewhere on Google Play.
However, the Lite version does not have the facility to customize the available speech.
Since the full version is now FREE, we recommend the full version for all users.Pocket Voice uses Mulberry Symbols (licence CC BY-SA) from http://straight-street.org

What Our Users Say
Don't just take our word for it. Here's what our users have to say about our Android app.
"So much potential, as well as not being able to speak clearly our daughter suffers Parkinson shaking of hands / fingers. Any way you can change sizes of icons, tablets etc so easier for her to touch accurately ??? Also is there a way to print off help guide ! Keep up great work"
Colin Richardson
"It could be useful for someone who has lost a voice but who knows how to read, and formulate an utterance, in English. Not adequate for a person with SID."
Esther Paris
"Excellent app, easy to use."
